Can't quite figure out what to give your dad or husband on Fathers Day? Here is something that comes from the heart.
(If this is for your dad) Without him noticing what you are up to, have someone snap candid photos of you and him...
(If this is for hubby) Snap candid photos of him and your child/children at play, at bedtime, reading, bonding etc.
Photos that are not posed or staged are theee BEST...they really show a love that cannot be denied. You can really see it in the eyes of the father, child, mother etc.
Gather the photos. Using a 8x10 frame, print and cut photos to create a collage and assemble in the frame. Gather words of love online or write your own...Add the date. You can do this every year and it can never get boring.
Below, is a collage of photos that I took and framed for my husbands' first fathers day...These shots were taken the night before fathers day. I framed it and placed it on the nightstand for him to see first thing in the morning. I got lotsa' points for that! :)
Here are some other photographs that are so simple but so powerful...Priceless.
You can capture those precious, intimate moments of father and child from a distance...
Print on canvas, home printer, drugstore printing department etc. Add your own words to them in Adobe Photoshop or any photo editing software. Write on it if you want instead...just get the message across.
Frame and hang on the wall so that special dad can be surprised...
Happy Fathers Day 2012!
The first three photos are mine. The rest are from: Boston.com, Stockfresh.com, Photo.net, trekearth.com, Linnea Lenkus Studio, Vision.org, dailyencouragement.net and Betterphoto.com
